3D laser tube cutting system available in 3, 4, or 5 kW

BLM GROUP LT12 lasertube system

BLM GROUP USA has introduced the LT12 lasertube system for cutting light and heavy tubes and profiles up to 305 mm dia. According to the company, the machine cuts in 55% less time than other machines capable of the same maximum diameter.

The machine, which does not require a special foundation, features a 3D cutting head with a slim design for processing special sections and beams. Offered with laser sources in 3, 4, or 5 kW, it has integrated built-in sensors to monitor optics parameters during operation. The machine’s Active Tools library helps maximize efficiency and ease of use for the operator, the manufacturer says.

The unloader features a conveyor belt for shorter parts and unloading chains to stage longer parts. Operators can quickly configure the short part conveyor to unload parts into a crate to function as a buffer. The scrap conveyor evacuates scrap into a bin located on the rear side of the machine.

The Active Scan feature autocorrects the positioning of geometries on the tubes to be cut, adjusting for tube deformations.
