S.A.F.E. to provide custom work platforms for U.S. Army helicopter fleet
S.A.F.E. Structure Designs has received a contract for custom work platforms for the U.S. Army fleet of UH-60 helicopters at the Yuma Proving Grounds in Tucson, Ariz. These maintenance stands will be developed to fit and function in the tight-spaced hangar layout at the Yuma facility.
The stands offer a seamless fit to the aircraft with access to the main rotor, engine, transmission, flight controls, tail boom, driveshafts, and tail rotor.
