FD Machinery receives contract for new HF ERW tube mill

Cleveland-based FD Machinery recently received an order for a new high-frequency ERW tube mill to be installed at a tube production facility in the Great Lakes region in Q1 2020.

The complete tube mill line will be equipped with a coil cart, an inline coating system, an automated bundler, and the company’s patented robotic roll changing system. The size range is 1.00 to 5.00 in. OD.

FD Machinery offers mills for manufacturing mechanical, structural, ornamental, LSAW, and API tube and pipe in sizes from 3/8 to 24 in. OD with wall thickness up to 1 in., as well as square and rectangular mills. Its product line includes slitters, entry equipment, cutoffs, automated bundlers, hydro testers, seam annealers, and end finishing equipment.
