Tube and pipe industry veteran retires after 42-year career
T&H Lemont, Countryside, Ill., a provider of tube mill and roll forming equipment and tooling, has announced the retirement of Marty Byrne, effective Sept. 4, 2020.
Byrne began his career in the tube and pipe industry in 1978 with Tesgo Inc. as a sales representative. He then moved to Roll Kraft in 1982, serving as vice president of sales until he left in 2008. He joined T&H Lemont in early 2010 as sales and marketing manager.
Michael Strand, president of T&H Lemont, stated that Byrne has been a role model for the industry and one of the great personalities, helping everyone he encountered with his knowledge and experience.
