Portable tube bender includes flaring attachment

Lomar offers the S1140 portable tube bender with an interchangeable 37-degree flaring attachment. It is designed for short-run bending and flaring of hydraulic tubing.

It uses a 5,000-PSI hydraulic power source to process 3/8- to ¾-in.-dia. (0.049- to 0.065-in.-wall) mild steel tubing. The unit, which is 6 by 20 by 7 in. and weighs 25 lbs., can be vise-mounted, bolted to a workbench, or carried on-site. It is available with a number of hydraulic power sources, including hand, air/hydraulic, and electric pumps. Setup takes seconds with the standard, quick-change tooling, the company reports.
