FL3015 Corona fiber laser from HK offers optional rotary axis for tube cutting

HK has introduced the FL3015 Corona fiber laser system. It features a cutting carriage with dual servomotors and additional frames to prevent whipping, with a new Laser Mech autofocus fiber cutting head. The system has a wide-open side door that enables the operator to access the work table and perform various cutting applications and jig and fixture work.

The strong, ultralight cutting bridge adds rigidity to reduce vibration. According to the manufacturer, the distortion rate under high dynamic movement is reduced by 10 times.

An optional rotary axis package, comprising a rotary axis, tailstock, and tube support, is available for cutting tube diameters up to 11.8 in. OD. It also has a feed-through hole that can feed tubes up to 6 in. dia. The operator can load the material from the front door and pick up the cut tubes using the wide-open side door. It can cut round, square, and rectangular tubes.
