Strong Hand Tools’ BuildPro tube and pipe notcher is customizable
Strong Hand Tools® has introduced the BuildPro® tube and pipe notcher for prepping stock for fixturing. The notcher enables the setup and control of tubes and pipes for a variety of notches, such as 45 and 90 degrees, compound, and reference.
According to the company, the notcher simplifies alignment and length control of the second notch. It is used with a ½-in. drill to notch 1- to 2-1/2-in.-OD pipe or square tubes at any angle or off-center. The cutter centerline is height-adjustable to accommodate a variety of workpieces. It accepts hole saw thread sizes of ½ in.20 and 5/8 in.-18.
The notcher kit includes components for positioning and aligning tubes and pipes on the modular fixture plate.
