Viking’s SR24 skew roll shot blaster handles pipe up to 24 in. dia.
Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released the SR24, its newest pass-through blaster. The machine’s blast zone handles pipe from 9 to 24 in. dia.
The unit runs a continuous speed of 2 to 3 FPM to blast an SSPC 10 near-white finish. The rollers are equipped with a VFD programmed to travel 2 to 12 FPM. The cabinet is made of AR 500 and lined with ½-in.-thick cast chrome/moly liners for wear resistance.
Options include a rotary scalping drum; auxiliary abrasive hoppers; and 20-, 25-, or 30-HP blast wheels. The machine comes with two VKPowermax 30-HP blast wheels.
