EFD’s Compact Weldac solid-state welder uses minimal space

EFD offers the Compact Weldac, a solid-state welder less than 1,300 mm tall that delivers output power up to 300 kW. At half the size of its predecessor, it features high-efficiency SiC inverters and reduced volume.

From the mains to the welding coil, the efficiency is 91%, which results in low cooling-water consumption and energy savings. The system’s communication platform can be set up for Industry 4.0, and operation is simple, with minimal manual settings. Coil changes take seconds, with the induction frequency adjusting automatically to each tube dimension.
