CBAM-2 printer from Impossible Objects produces complex geometries

Impossible Objects offers the CBAM-2 printer for making complex geometries at industrial speeds. The technology leverages high-speed inkjet printing methods to produce high-performance composite parts.

With no tooling and minimal touch labor, long-fiber fabric sheets made of carbon or glass are automatically combined with thermoplastic powders to produce strong, lightweight 3D composite parts quickly.

The individual parts in a single build operation can be identical or unique, and the process is completed with simple heating and finishing steps.
