South Korean 3D printer builder introduces fabWeaver ‘prototyping workstation’

Sindoh Co. Ltd. expects its new 3D printer brand to expand its global presence. The Seoul, Korea, company debuted the fabWeaver type A530, a prototyping workstation intended for industrial 3D printing, at the Formnext show last November.

The company says it designed the printer to help customers achieve JIT manufacturing goals; be highly dependable, accurate, easy to use, and reliable; and have a low TCO (total cost of ownership).

The FFF (fused filament fabrication)-style, open-design A530 lets users mix and match common materials, including ABS, ASA, and PLA. It features a 310- by 310- by 310-mm build envelope, 200-mm/sec. print speed, and 7-in. touch screen. The printer also comes loaded with Weaver3 Studio and Weaver3 cloud/mobile software.

The workstation is scheduled to be available in Q1 in North America, Europe, and South Korea.
