The mission of 1stSource is to provide quality, cost-effective overhead conveyor (OHC) components and systems. The company supports types of OHC as well as providing design and build capability and systems integration for expansions of existing systems and new systems.



A humble workhorse of Industry since it was developed 100 years ago, the basic OHC design has not changed but components and assemblies have evolved and improved and of course electrical components and controls have made quantum leaps in recent years. The two types of OHC are enclosed track conveyor and round tube enclosed track conveyor.
—Enclosed track conveyors have machined chains that run in enclosed steel tracks. The loading capacity is lighter than that of the other type.
—Round tube enclosed track conveyors suspend the load from either a vertical pendant between two wheels for an offset pendant from one load wheel.
