Ironwood Capital portfolio company NSA Industries acquires Metal Tronics

Ironwood Capital’s portfolio company and sheet metal fabricator NSA Industries, St. Johnsbury, Vt., has acquired Metal Tronics, a provider of precision metal fabrication and CNC machining in Georgetown, Mass.

Ironwood Capital Director Paul Witinski said, "Metal Tronics has very similar capabilities to NSA but different customers/end markets; this provides NSA entry into these high-growth markets while increasing scale and allowing both companies to benefit from shared utilization of capital assets."

NSA has more than 400 employees and operates five manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
