Beckwood Press to supply punching press to Dahlstrom Roll Form

St. Louis-based Beckwood Press Co., a manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses, automation systems, and forming equipment, has been awarded a contract by Dahlstrom Roll Form, Jamestown, N.Y., to design and manufacture a 75-ton, high-speed punching press.

With a 30- by 50-in. forming area and a custom-designed hydraulic circuit, the press can punch aluminum and steel sheet material up to 60 times/min. Programmable fixed stops limit ram retraction and eliminate overshoot, while a through-hole in the bed expedites scrap removal and helps increase throughput.
