Avid Boats to open new facility in Mississippi, create 75 jobs
Startup boat manufacturer Avid Boats is locating a new production facility in Amory, Miss. The $1.6 million corporate investment project will create 75 jobs.
The company is locating in the 80,000-sq.-ft. facility formerly occupied by CPI Packaging Inc., where employees will produce 17- to 23-ft. aluminum bass and center console bay boats.
Avid Boats plans to produce 750 units in 2020 and 1,500 units per year by 2022.
