Solar Manufacturing breaks ground on Pennsylvania manufacturing facility

Commercial heat treater Solar Manufacturing Inc., based in Souderton, Pa., held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new, $8 million manufacturing facility in Sellersville, Pa. Because of substantial growth in recent years, the company expanded into two separate manufacturing facilities located a few miles apart. The new property will allow the firm to combine its nearly 50 employees under one roof, tripling its current space.

The nearly 60,000-sq.-ft. facility will be built on 8.55 acres and is expected to be completed in early 2019. It will contain a two-story office space of nearly 20,000 sq. ft. and 40,000 sq. ft. of crane-served manufacturing space.
