Cortec’s recyclable moisture barrier papers protect all kinds of metals

Cortec® Corp. offers fully recyclable/repulpable moisture barrier papers as an alternative to polyethylene and wax papers. Multimetal VpCI® papers protect all kinds of metals, and the natural kraft paper prevents package contamination.

The papers are available in widths nearing 100 in. for single-item packaging and parts interleaving. They are coated with proprietary vapor phase corrosion inhibitors for corrosion protection of both ferrous and nonferrous metal. The papers contain no hazardous ingredients such as fluorochemicals, nitrites, phosphates, silicones, chromates, or other heavy metals.

When components are removed from the paper, the VpCI molecules naturally float away from the metal, leaving behind a dry and ready-to-use surface.
