Boeing to cut workforce to 130,000

Boeing has announced it expects to cut its workforce to about 130,000 employees by the end of next year. The company announced the planned reduction when it recently reported a $449 million loss for Q3.

The aircraft manufacturer has faced significant revenue loss since the grounding of its 737 Max in March 2019 and as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
