Bystronic to introduce automated bending cell at open house Sept. 13-14

Bystronic Inc. will introduce the new Mobile Bending Cell automation at its Premier Open House on Sept. 13-14, 2017, in Elgin, Ill. The new, mobile automation module for the Xpert 40 press brake offers a compact system for automated and manual bending.

Users can process large orders with the automated bending cell, and they can bend small orders and individual parts manually when necessary. According to the company, users can set up the robotics system on the press brake in just a few minutes by rolling the automation unit in front of the machine. In a few steps, the robotics system at the center of the cell automatically aligns itself with the press brake.
