Coe Press Equipment opens Mexico service office, names field service engineer

Coe Press Equipment, a provider of coil processing equipment based in Sterling Heights, Mich., has announced a new service team based out of Monterrey, Mexico. The office is run by Fernando Alvarado, field service engineer, working in tandem with Guy Spencer, the company’s local direct sales rep for Mexico.

Formerly employed by a member of the Coe dealer network, Alvarado has a deep familiarity with the equipment, as well as the coil processing markets throughout the region. He previously worked nearly 20 years as a service engineer in the metal forming and pipeline industries throughout Mexico. Before that he was maintenance supervisor for a manufacturer of structural and mechanical steel pipes.

Alvarado has an electronic and communication engineer degree from Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica, UANL.
