- December 19, 2017
- News Release
- Bending and Forming
Dallas Industries, Troy, Mich., a manufacturer of coil handling and press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry, has delivered two conventional feed lines to the La-Z-Boy facility in Neosho, Mo.
The 36-in.-wide line features a DRF-536 cabinet-mounted servo feed, threading table, DPS-3.5-36-7 powered straightener, and 20,000-lb.-load capacity reel with load car.
The 18-in.-wide line features La-Z-Boy’s existing model DRF-418 cabinet-mounted servo feed (with a new controls retrofit), threading table, model DPS-3-18-7 powered straightener, and a 6,000-lb. load capacity reel.
Both lines were built on an Allen-Bradley, Ethernet-based control architecture and feature SyncLoop controls that synchronize the feeder and straightener speeds to help the slack loop’s stability and control. They also feature the ProfileSelect™ feed control system that uses a cam-motion profile for a feed motion that uses 100 percent of the press feed window.
