De-Sta-Co announces appointments, promotions

De-Sta-Co, Auburn Hills, Mich., has announced four staff appointments. The company, which designs and manufactures clamping, gripping, transfer, and robotic tooling products, has promoted Steve McBride to the position of sales manager for North America; named Eric Ringholm as director of pneumatic automation product management; appointed John Southcott as national accounts manager; and promoted Scott Peters to vice president of sales and marketing.
McBride handles customer relations and regional sales matters for North America. During his five years with the company, he has served in several capacities, including regional sales manager for Canada. In that role, he developed channels and customers for the organization in Canada.
Ringholm is responsible for developing strategies to boost growth in the pneumatic automation product line, in addition to retaining sales management duties for New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Ringholm joined the organization in 2006 as regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic states.
Southcott manages national accounts and continues his responsibilities as a regional sales manager for Illinois. Additionally, he focuses on logistics, site management, and maintenance of catalog houses. He joined the company in 1982.
Peters, who joined the company in 1996, leads the organization's North American sales division and is responsible for global marketing efforts. Previously he drove the development and implementation of sales plans and strategy for the company's automation and workholding product lines, in addition to directing several programs regarding target accounts, lead management, sales automation, and channel policies.
