Half of BMW’s sales will be all-electric by 2030, says carmaker

BMW is forecasting that all-electric vehicles will make up more than half of its sales before its target date of 2030.

BMW is forecasting that all-electric vehicles will make up more than half of its sales before its target date of 2030. The carmaker is anticipating that one quarter of new sales will be all-electric by 2025 and one third by 2026.

In addition, BMW is anticipating that it could have a hydrogen-powered vehicle in production by the middle of this decade. The BMW iX5 Hydrogen test vehicle has a range of 310 miles and can refuel in three to four minutes.
