Weiler Abrasives donates $25,000 to Workshops for Warriors
Cresco, Pa.-based Weiler Abrasives, a provider of abrasives, power brushes, and maintenance products for surface conditioning, has announced its continued support of the mission of Workshops for Warriors with a donation of $25,000.
The nonprofit school trains and certifies veterans, wounded warriors, and transitioning service members in CNC, welding, CAD, and other technical trades and helps place them in advanced manufacturing careers. Founded in 2008, the school will celebrate its 1,000th graduate this year. Graduates of the school currently are working in all 50 states.
In addition to financial support, Weiler Abrasives has supplied in-kind donations of abrasive and safety products to Workshops for Warriors since 2014.
