Hi-Tec Profiles increases capabilities with new cutting equipment

Hi-Tec Profiles, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is upgrading its cutting capabilities with the addition of new equipment at its manufacturing facility in Regina, Sask.

In the past year the company has added two 8-kW Mitsubishi 4020RX-F lasers with a tower and automation. The manufacturer also is adding a 50- by 10-ft. K5200 Kinetic drill/plasma machine.

Hi-Tec Profiles runs 24/7 with equipment that includes 10 6- by 12-ft. lasers, plasma/flame cutting, drill/plasma/flame cutting, two plate rolls, 10 press brakes up to 850 tons, and a tube laser.
