SPI Lasers to present fiber laser webinar Sept. 16

SPI Lasers will host a webinar Sept. 16 focusing on the versatility of fiber lasers, led by Jack Gabzdyl, vice president of marketing and business development.

Gabzdyl, who has more than 30 years of laser materials processing experience, will explain how nanosecond fiber lasers—best known for their use in laser marking systems—are becoming more widely used in micromachining applications such as cutting and scribing. He will review how they can be used for cutting both metallic and nonmetallic material using scanner-based remote cutting or through a process head with a coaxial gas head.
