Fabric Images collaborates in fabrication of Flatiron Sky-Line installation

Elgin, Ill.-based Fabric Images Inc.® has completed fabrication of the Flatiron Sky-Line in New York. Designed by LOT, the Flatiron Sky-Line was the winning design in the third annual Flatiron Public Plaza Holiday Design Competition by The Flatiron/23rd Street Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) and Van Alen Institute. The temporary installation sits within the heart of the Flatiron District.

Fabric Images engineered and produced a series of 10 large continuous arches, constructed of white powder-coated steel and engineered to support lighting and hammocks. The installation is open through the holidays.
