NACE Intl. approves creation of Standards Board

The board of directors for Houston-based NACE Intl. has approved the membership slate of the new NACE Standards Board and authorized its members to provide oversight and management of NACE Intl.’s standards program. The Standards Board will have a voting seat on the board of directors, effective March 2020.

Standards Board members will convene for a two-day orientation in Houston Jan. 28-29. It will meet twice a year during NACE Intl.’s spring Corrosion Conference and fall Corrosion Technology Week.

The nonprofit association serves all industries affected by corrosion, offering technical training and certification programs, industry standards, reports, conferences, and publications focused on corrosion prevention and mitigation.
