U. S. Steel Canada announces management appointments

U. S. Steel Canada, a subsidiary of United States Steel Corp., Pittsburgh, has announced several management appointments.
Anton Jura, who currently serves as president and general manager of U. S. Steel Canada, assumes a position within the company’s North American flat-rolled operations in the U.S. He joined the company in 2000, moved to U.S. Steel Canada in 2009 as general manager, and has served as president since 2011.
Michael A. McQuade, who currently serves as vice president and CFO, has been named president and general manager. He has been in the industry 33 years, holding a variety of accounting, finance, sales, and operations roles at Ontario steelmaking facilities.
Roy S. Collins, previously serving as controller — Hamilton Works, assumes McQuade's responsibilities. He has been with the company for 37 years.
Jodi Koch, director of human resources, advances to director of human resources and employee relations, with continued responsibility for U. S. Steel Canada and additional responsibility for U. S. Steel's Mon Valley Works located outside of Pittsburgh. Based in Hamilton, Ont., she previously worked for Ford Motor Co. of Canada in a variety of HR positions.
