Brek to expand Kansas operations

Brek Mfg. Co., a Gardena, Calif.-based producer of structural aerospace components, has announced plans for a $4.5 million investment to establish new operations in Wichita, Kan. The expansion is expected to create 75 jobs over the next five years.

The manufacturer produces precision-machined and monolithic-designed parts for commercial, strategic, and tactical military aircraft, including the A380, 737, 777, and 787 commercial aircraft; the C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft; and the F-15 Eagle, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and F/A-18 Hornet fighters.
