Fall NBT scholarship application opens for students pursuing manufacturing careers

Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT), the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl.® (FMA), Elgin, Ill., is accepting scholarship applications for the fall 2019 semester now through March 31. NBT awards scholarships valued at up to $2,500 to deserving students pursuing a degree which leads to a manufacturing career. Approximately 25 scholarships will be awarded this season.
Eligible applicants are full-time students enrolled in a manufacturing-related course of study or a skilled trade program leading to a career in manufacturing. Students must hold a minimum GPA and are responsible for submitting academic records and a manufacturing-related program description with each application. Students pursuing degrees in the recommended fields of study are encouraged to apply.
FMA individual members and member companies’ employees, their spouses, and their dependents receive priority consideration when applying for an NBT scholarship. Membership details and information can be found at fmanet.org.Since 1990 NBT has awarded nearly $1 million in scholarships to the next generation of manufacturing professionals.
