Belgium-based metal fabricating equipment-maker LVD has launched Insights 2020, a series of technology events, virtual and live, taking place September through December.
The platform provides sheet metal fabricators access to the latest technology and new product launches and delivers industry insights and intelligence to help advance the critical business of sheet metalworking.
The series kicks off with six Virtual Tech Sessions covering topics on fiber laser cutting, new automation possibilities, adaptive bending, and bending automation Sept. 15-17. More Virtual Tech Sessions are scheduled for October, November, and December, with new topics delivered each month. All sessions offer attendees the opportunity to ask questions of technical experts in real time.
The company also offers Live Tech Days at its Experience (XP) Center in Belgium. These 1.5-day in-person events provide an in-depth look at the latest technology including new products for 2020, live demonstrations, interactions with technical staff, and networking opportunities. Events are restricted to a maximum of 25 people. Increased safety measures are in place, and all necessary health and safety protocols are observed.
Live Tech Days are scheduled for Oct. 27 and 28, Nov. 3 and 4, and Nov. 25 and 26. New products will be unveiled at all three events.
