Madison Chemical recognized for commitment to the environment
Madison Chemical, a chemical formulator that provides cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance products in Madison, Ind., has been recognized for its commitment to the environment by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. The organization granted the company membership in the state’s Environmental Stewardship Program for implementing and maintaining measurable environmental improvements.
Madison Chemical’s mission to use, reuse, and repurpose resources, from wood pallets to chemicals that are not properly mixed, represents some of the practices that helped it earn this honor.
About 60 Indiana companies are members of the program and committed to reducing both water and energy usage, as well as decreasing hazardous waste in soil and reducing air emissions.
