MEC announces COO transition

Rand Stille

Mayville Engineering Co. (MEC), Mayville, Wis., a value-added provider of prototyping and tooling, production fabrication, coating, assembly, and aftermarket components, has named Rand Stille as COO, following the retirement of Steve Mance.

Stille, who joined the company in April 2019, previously served as the executive vice president – Defiance Metal Products (DMP) and performance structures operations. His 27 years of experience includes executive roles at Universal Logistics Holdings, Westport Axle, L&W Engineering, and Shape Corp. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from DePauw University and a master’s degree in supply chain management from Michigan State University.
