Rohde Brothers adds 11,000 sq. ft., 40-ton crane to Wisconsin shop

Mechanical contractor Rohde Brothers Inc. has unveiled a comprehensive expansion of its fabrication shop in Plymouth, Wis. The product includes an 11,000-sq.-ft. addition, which increases total shop space to 37,000 sq. ft., as well as the introduction of a 40-ton crane with four hooks.

In addition, the company has integrated a horizontal geothermal heating/cooling system and snow melt system, with the potential to reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 40%, and full LED high bay lighting. The new facility also has an equipment test cell, a dedicated stainless steel fabrication area with laser welding capability.
