Solar Atmospheres of California adds large furnace

Solar Atmospheres of California (SCA) has added large-furnace capacity to its inventory of vacuum equipment in Fontana, Calif. The furnace is designed to process a variety of materials that require optimum performance during controlled heating, controlled cooling, vacuum processing, positive pressure processing, and differential pressure processing.

The 84-in.-dia. by 144-in.-long furnace has a maximum operating temperature of 2,650 degrees F and maintains a temperature uniformity of +/-10 degrees F. Maximum loading is 50,000 lbs.
