Tampa Tank – Florida Structural Steel wins Manufacturing Business Excellence Award
Tampa Tank – Florida Structural Steel is one of six Florida manufacturers awarded the 2019 Florida Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Award by Gov. Ron DeSantis at the Governor’s Sterling Awards Banquet in May. The awards are given to high-performing manufacturers based on leadership, strategy, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, workforce, and operations.
The company has been in the steel industry for more than 60 years, with corporate offices and plants located at Port Tampa Bay in Florida. It fabricates structural steel products for bridges, highways, and heavy plate steel industrial and commercial applications.
