CAD/CAM nesting software updated with enhanced features

Hypertherm Associates' ProNest 2025

Hypertherm Associates has introduced a ProNest 2025 version 16.0 nesting software. It includes new features and ongoing updates designed to help users improve their operational efficiency while reducing nonvalue-added tasks.

This version includes enhanced integration with Tekla PowerFab Connector, an optional module that provides seamless data exchange between ProNest and Tekla PowerFab. Library parts updates help ensure the latest revision is always available, while job auto recovery helps save work-in-progress from being lost.

Collision avoidance, included by default in ProNest LT for Omax waterjet setups, helps ensure an optimized cut path is applied in the software, eliminating the need for secondary steps in IntelliMAX.

Small-entity detection identifies motions that are smaller than kerf width or other length value, which can cause errors at the machine or may result in poor cut quality.
