Leibinger’s industrial inkjet printers feature self-explanatory touch displays

Paul Leibinger GmbH & Co. KG is adding intuitive touch displays to its printers for product coding and marking. The printers are used for marking sheet metal parts with batch numbers, lot numbers, type designations, company logos, and 2-D codes using noncontact flying ink drops.

The Jet3up model features a 10.4-in. color touchscreen display with a Windows®-based interface. The device can be operated with a finger, pen, mouse, or keyboard. The printed image on the product corresponds 1-to-1 with the digital display.

Drag-and-drop functions, illustrated user instructions, and the option to customize the user interface also accelerate operation.
