SigmaNEST X1.4 CAD/CAM nesting software from SigmaTEK automatically tools all single hits

SigmaTEK Systems has released SigmaNEST X1.4 CAD/CAM nesting software. This new version features a customizable ribbon toolbar, which allows users to create custom groups, display functions that are used most often and hide the ones that are not, add and remove functions from all groups, and rearrange all groups and functions within the toolbar.

The software also offers an HD rectangular nesting engine. This dynamic algorithm allows users to nest rectangular parts with an average 3 percent increase in yield compared to the SigmaNEST rectangular nesting engine.

The new Auto Single Hit function for punch users automatically tools all single hits quickly and efficiently, the company states, eliminating the need to manually click on each one. The user can select which types of tools will be used and whether to apply tooling to internal, external, or all contours.
