ToolConnect IoT from Visual Knowledge Share upgraded for connected workers

Visual Knowledge Share announced it has upgraded ToolConnect IoT. In addition to its existing capability of capturing torque values in real time, the system now supports the ability to push the required parameter set or required torque value from a VKS work instruction directly to smart assembly tools.
It connects employees with digital work instructions, controlling tools and equipment in real time as an operator progresses through a task, which can help companies reduce quality issues and increase productivity, reports the company.
The browser-based software can leverage cloud-based technology and real-time global sharing of content.
