CC-GRIND-Flex grinding discs from Pferd smooth butt welds without bumps

Pferd has introduced CC-GRIND®-Flex semiflexible grinding discs. They blend weld seams on large surfaces without leaving dents or bumps for a flat surface, the company states.

This smoothing of butt welds is made possible by a design that integrates a layered fiberglass backer with a coated abrasive. The geometry of the cooling slits helps ensure high airflow, reducing the thermal load on the grinding discs and workpiece.

The disc is available in 4-1/2 and 5 in. dia. with 7/8-in. bore, in coarse or fine grit.
