- Finishing
Weldcote, a division of Zika Group, offers roll-on and turn-on quick-change ceramic C-Prime discs for applications on steel, stainless steel, ferrous, and nonferrous metals.
Used for finishing, grinding, deburring, and blending applications, the roll-on discs are manufactured with seven grits from 24 to 120 in the 2-in. disc and six grits in the 3-in. disc. The turn-on ceramic discs are available in six grits from 36 to 120 in the 2-in. size and three grits from 36 to 80 in the 3-in. disc.
The proprietary ceramic abrasive grain has a fine crystallized structure that offers improved life, aggressiveness, and self-sharpening features compared to traditional ceramic products, according to the company. It offers high removal rates at fast cutting speeds with lower grinding temperatures and less friction, states the manufacturer.
