Yaskawa Motoman expands painting and dispensing robot line with the MPX1150 and MPX2600

Yaskawa Motoman has added two high-speed, 6-axis robots to its paint robot line. These models create smooth, consistent finishes for a variety of painting and dispensing applications, the company reports.

Suitable for painting smaller components, the MPX1150 has a straight wrist with 11-lb. payload capacity. It is suitable for mounting a variety of spray guns and small bells. It features a small footprint, slim arm design, and optional location for the manipulator cable connection.

Designed for automotive components and other industrial applications, the MPX2600 robot features a streamlined upper arm equipped with mounting points for hose routing. Its 33-lb. wrist payload allows for mounting a variety of spray guns and large bells, while the 2.75-in.-dia. hollow wrist helps prevent paint and air tube interference.
