TRUMPF TruLaser Cell 5030 designed for prototypes, medium-volume production

TRUMPF has introduced the TruLaser Cell 5030 for prototypes and low- to medium-volume production. It comes with a disk laser as standard for low maintenance and energy efficiency.

Flying optics help keep the process consistently accurate, regardless of the weight and position of the part, says the company. The TruTops Cell Basic software offers the ability to modify design parameters through the machine interface. It includes numerous preset cutting tables, which reduce machine setup times for different materials and material thicknesses.

X-Blast technology almost doubles the working distance between the nozzle and the workpiece to help make the cutting process more reliable and robust, states the manufacturer.
