Center-drive conveyors require limited space
- March 7, 2006
- Product Release
- Materials Handling
QC Industries offers the 250 series center-drive conveyors that feature a 1.89-in. profile, allowing them to be used in applications where space is limited.
The units have a load-carrying capacity of 630 lbs. and speeds up to 360 FPM. Belt widths from 2 to 24 in. and lengths from 4 to 28 ft. are available. A snap-in, sealed tail assembly allows belts to be changed in less than 5 minutes using standard hand tools, regardless of belt length or width.
Multipoint belt tensioning helps ensure long service life of belts and bearings while moving heavy loads in low-profile conveyors. Conveyor frames are laser-cut from 10-ga. steel and then powder-coated. Bearings can be lubricated while running. Application-specific belting is available in more than 50 styles.
Sides, guides, mounts, stands, drive packages, and controls accessories are available. Automation accessories available include transfer plates, diverters, nose bars, adjustable stops, and turning wheels.
