Beckhoff AL8000 linear motors offer length, winding, cooling type options

Beckhoff has introduced the AL8000 series of modular linear motors, developed in cooperation with subsidiary Fertig Motors. The product family is based on a modular system design comprising linear motors and magnetic plates. Users can choose from three widths—50 mm (AL8x2x), 80 mm (AL8x4x), and 130 mm (AL8x6x)—and each width category offers different options for length, winding type, and cooling type.

Depending on the size of the linear motor, peak forces of 120 to 6,750 N are possible, with maximum speeds up to 12 m/sec.
