New Miller Web page connects visitors to welding resources
- January 15, 2008
- News Release
- Aluminum Welding
Miller Electric Mfg. Co.'s new Industries and Interests Web page, located at www.millerwelds.com/interests, organizes the information available on the Appleton, Wis., company's Web site into nine categories: Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Service Truck, Welding Instructors, Motorsports, Gearheads, Farm & Ranch, and Welding Projects.
The online resource simplifies searching and helps visitors find needed tools and connect with resources that address specific interests and issues, the company reports. The page contains links to technical articles and e-training tools. Additionally, it links to welding projects, motorsports discussion forums, and Miller's "Viewpoints" blog.
The Construction, Manufacturing, and Fabrication categories include "Improving Your Welding Operations" sections that link to real-life stories illustrating how end users have reduced weld costs, increased productivity, maximized operator efficiency, and justified equipment purchases. The categories also include product selection guides, as well as welding and power efficiency calculators.
A job search tool enables job seekers to locate welding positions according to ZIP code.
A subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW), Miller manufactures arc welding equipment and related systems for applications such as metalworking, construction, and maintenance.
