Bug-O hires leader of Latin America strategic initiatives
Canonsburg, Pa.-based Bug-O, a manufacturer of track, automation, and motion control for arc welding and cutting, has hired Norman Galeana to lead its strategic initiatives in Latin America.
After earning a degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Mexico City, México, Galeana began a 17-year career with the Lincoln Electric Co. He began as a district sales manager in Mexico City, later advancing to Automation Division and international accounts director. Galeana then was promoted to commercial and marketing director/technical manager, Colombia, and finally to general manager of the Automation Division, Brazil.
