Fronius Compact Cladding Cell helps simplify overlay welding
Fronius has developed the Compact Cladding Cell for overlay welding on components with a diameter of up to 1 m, maximum weight of 2,500 kg, and maximum height of 1.9 m. In addition, the system enables the surfacing of a variety of bore geometries (cylindrical, conical, multidiameter) from a bore diameter of 25 mm.
The cell platform measures less than 6 sq. m. The entire system uses a single power supply. It’s available with the GTAW hot wire process or the SpeedClad Twin process (two tungsten electrodes and two wires).
The horizontal rotary table helps ensure precise part positioning. The stand arm boom allows horizontal pendulum movements and enables the different welding torches to be fitted.
